Do damage reductions stack?

So I am wearing scale mail which gives a damage reduction of 1 I believe( don't have it in front of me to check )

I also took form of the willow which gives damage reduction 5.

So in willow form do I have damage reduction 5 or 6?

Multiple sources of damage reduction in an aspect do not stack, use only the highest one. so in this case, you get the damage reduction from the stance only, not the armor.

Additionally, damage reduction cannot reduce damage below 1 + the number of damage dice, and damage reduction affects healing.
